This site is to celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of Joyce and Jim Buck, welcome!
Joyce Merline Raines and James Franklin Buck were married in Cusseta, Georgia on October 21, 1950. They eloped without telling their family and were married by a female preacher! They were high school students at Baker High School in Columbus, Georgia. Shortly after they wed, Jim joined the Air Force.

December 8, 1954, Cheryl Lynn was the first baby to arrive, followed by James Franklin Jr. (Butch) September 7, 1956, Charles Louis (Toby) April 2, 1958, and Sharon Kay (Suzy) June 3, 1963.
The Buck family was stationed all over the place, from Germany to Nebraska to Patrick AFB in Florida, where they moved permanantly in 1966 when Jim retired from the Air Force.

We celebrated their anniversary Friday night October 27, 2000!
At the Grant Community Center (4580 1st Street) in Grant, Fl. The fun started at 6 PM, with dinner served at 7 PM.
